“Our duty, as campaigning individuals, is to ensure that not only will we provide the mediums of communication between the students and the board, but to also encourage it to the greatest extent possible. In order to ensure and encourage this communication, our slate will implement certain measures, such as a monthly town hall forum where students will be able to voice their opinions on how the school should be ran and also a further breakdown on how students are able to enact change with the assistance of AS."

“I would commit to being out on the quad, telling students ‘Hey, you have the opportunity to tell us (AS) what you think,' cause we have clubs and our club life is very strong and I’m happy for that, but how many students are affiliated with these clubs? But if people really knew the opportunities that existed, they wouldn’t just come here to study and bounce after a year of two, they would be like 'Wow, this is a really nice campus life and I want to get involved."

“I want to be able to work to change the Associated Students constitutions so that we can make sure the major action items are proposed one week and then a meeting is held on them the next week and we want to make a requirement for an ICC meeting to be held in between those two meetings. We want to do that for transparency.”

We do not have composting bins throughout the cafeteria and at every trash can I want there to be a waste station where students are able to sort through their waste and understand where it goes to be more educated about our waste system.”
