Maria Maea is a master of mix-media sculpture as demonstrated in her piece “All in Time.” What is unique about Maea’s work is her use of organic materials, including palm leaves, marigolds and Spanish moss. Maea is capable of portraying both emotion and movement in her work, while exhibiting incredible weaving pattern techniques.
