Santa Monica College’s Homecoming week kicked off Monday with a pizza party in the Cayton Center where students, clubs, football players and cheerleaders showed their support for SMC. Tuesday's festivities featured a carnival on the Quad offering free food and carnival games for all students. Unfortunately, weather was not on the Corsairs' side Thursday morning as heavy rain forced the football team to cancel their “Meet the Players” event. Despite the weather, players and students can look forward to Saturday’s tailgate game against the College of the Canyons Cougars at 1 p.m. on the Corsair field.
