SMC swimmer Gabriel Miranda wins state freestyle championship

Santa Moncia College Corsair swimmer Gabriel Miranda won the 500-yard Freestyle Swimming event at the 2015 California Community College Athletics Association Swimming and Diving State Championship, Friday. Miranda won the freestyle state championship with a time of 4:30.79, shaving five seconds off of his preliminary time of 4:35.98.

The rest of the competitions will continue until Saturday, May 2, at East Los Angeles College.
